I saw some people saying in chat that they are saving tokens for the new set on the 30th. Is this a good idea?

But don't the "members" get a few days ahead of the others? Even if you had the tokens you still can't get to the goods first unless of course you're a "member".

yes but it pays to pull a load of packs on the first days since items are at their highest value then.

I'll be saving tokens because:
1. Elemental packs are getting old & not much value, even in Legendary pulls. At least they are still just 200 tokens per pack.
2. Noble Set 6 just has not impressed me with its items & at 500 tokens per pack, they are very expensive!
3. Hopefully Noble Set 6 will lower in price when the new packs come out.

Members get two advance packs, and they get to buy them a day or so early with CC's only. Nothing more.

Blerg has already confirmed the set will also be 500 per pack.

items so far are sucky. I'm not overly impressed with the light drinker either.

Me too... The items are meh... But if they sell for a high value I wouldn't hesitate to sell!
